Sue Barry is a Leicestershire mixed media felt artist developing contemporary artworks based on the theme of hedgerows. Sue works with a restricted palette of dyed wool fibres which she cards. ‘Hedge-rows’ was developed from a photograph taken in Leicestershire looking at the patterned effects the hedgerows create.

I make hand stitched Fabric Postcards featuring small beings in a strangely familiar ‘moonscape’. Each individually made piece depicts thoughts reminiscent of long forgotten songs and sayings made from using my collection of recycled fabrics, buttons and lace. I also make pictures and hangings to commission.
